Obama inauguration speech _ Lakers pioneer

My fellow citizens: my fellow citizens: I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for theTrust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by ourancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, aswell as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout thistransition. I stand here today, and see major tasks facing eyes, deeply humbled. I would like to thank you trust in me, but also know the ancestors to the sacrifices made by this country. I would like to thank President Bush for the country's contribution, as well as for his generous collaboration of the two sessions of the Government of the transitional period to give the. Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. Thewords have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and thestill waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidstgathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America hascarried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those inhigh Office, but because We the People have remained faithful tothe ideals of our forbearers, and true to our foundingdocuments. to date, there are 44 United States presidential inauguration. Presidential oath sometimes faced is the country's peace and prosperity, but often face was clouded tensions. In a tense situation in support of United States not only the leaders ability and vision to advance our, but also to United States people's belief in the ideal country pioneers, and the United States founding documents of the faithful. So it has been. So it must be with this generation ofAmericans. predecessors, so must we of this generation of Americans. That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Ournation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence andhatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed andirresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collectivefailure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Ourhealthcare is too costly; our schools fail too many; And each daybrings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen ouradversaries and threaten our planet. now we all know, we are in the midst of crisis. Our country in battle, opponents of violence and hatred are far-reaching national economies have been badly weakened, because although there are some people's greed and irresponsible, but more importantly, we as a whole in some fault in the major decisions, but also failed to prepare for new era. Our people are losing homes, lost their jobs, many firms. Community health care too expensive, school of education make a lot of people down, and every day there is new evidence, the way we use energy fuelling our hostile forces, while also threatening our planet. These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidenceacross our land - a nagging fear that America's decline isinevitable, and that thE next generation must lower itssights. statistical data indicators convey messages of the crisis. Crisis is difficult to measure, but it is more difficult to measure its erosion of national self-confidence C now think that Americans United States decline is inevitable, our next generation must be low-key was killing the people's confidence. Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They areserious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in ashort span of time. But know this, America-they will bemet. today I'm going to say, we did face many difficult challenges, and are unlikely to be easily solved in the short term. But we must believe that we will pass through it. On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unityof purpose over conflict and discord. today, we've gathered together to select hope because we conquer fear, discard the selected conflicts and contradictions of solidarity. On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances andfalse promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that Forfar too long have strangled our politics. today, we announced it would be unnecessary friction and false promises, and accused the art end, we have to break to contain United States on the political development of old dogmas. We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the timehas come to set aside childish things. The time has come toreaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; Tocarry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on fromgeneration to generation:the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measureof happiness. United States is still a young country, to borrow from the words of the Bible, abandoned infant has arrived. To regain their tenacious spirit has arrived, we would like to make a better choice for the history, we are adhering to the history of valuable rights, adhering to the noble idea of that from generation to generation: the God gives each of us an equal and free, and everyone the opportunity to do our utmost to the pursuit of happiness. In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand thatgreatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey hasnever been one of short-cuts or settling for less. It has not beenthe path for the faint-hearted - for those who prefer leisure overwork, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it hasbeen the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things-somecelebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labour, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity andfreedom. in reaffirming the greatness of our country at the same time, we understand that greatness is never God bestowed, great efforts are needed to win. (Our race along the way), this journey never shortcuts or compromises, this trip is not suitable for shy people, or those who love comfort better than working, or simply seeking fame and fortune of the person. This road is a road of courage to take risks, be doers, creators of the road. That there are some names of history, but the more people are quietly worked on. These are the people who lead us through long and bumpy journey, lead us towards prosperity and freedom. For us, they packed up their fewworldly possessions and traveledacross oceans in search of a new life. For us, they toiled in sweatshops and settled the west; endured thelash of the whip and plowed the hard earth. For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord andGettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn. with a view to our, ancestors with a small jewelry, across the ocean, to find new life; our, ancestors enduring humiliation, with sweat pouring works; our, ancestors in the barren earth worked hard in the West, to settle from home; our, ancestors went to (the war of independence) kangkedecheng and Gettysburg, (World War II) in Normandy, (Vietnam war) KheSahn, their war, died. Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed andworked till their hands were raw so that we might live a betterlife. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individualambitions; Greater than all the differences of birth or wealth orfaction. time and time again, our ancestors battle, sacrifice, and toil, and only we can live better. In their view, the United States strong and great goes beyond personal ambitions, also went beyond the individual's birth, wealth and sectarian differences. This is the journey we continue today. We remain the mostprosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no lessproductive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no lessinventive, our goods and services no less needed than they werelast week or last month or last year. Our capacity remainsundiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrowinterests and putting off unpleasant decisions - that time hassurely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dustourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America. today we continue with our ancestors on the road. United States is the wealthiest, most powerful country on Earth. Compared with the clues at the beginning of the crisis, United States productivity remained strong in people; compared with last week, last month or last year, our minds are still be creative, we continued to be a market for goods and services, our strength had not weakened. However, you can for sure is, and be joyous, protecting narrow interests and of the times hesitant to tough decisions whose time has passed. From now on, we need to get up after the fall, patted its soil, start working again, rebuilding the United States. For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of theeconomy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - notonly to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. Wewill build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digitallines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restorescience to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders toraise healthcare's quality and lower its cost. We will harness thesun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run ourfactories. And we will transform our schools and colleges anduniversities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do. I look at it and there is work to be done. The country's economic situation requires us to take bold and speedy action, we really want to, not only to create jobs, but also to (the next suburb) lay the new foundation for growth. We will build bridges and roads, laying of power grids and digital lines for the enterprise, we are linked together. We will return to science, applying the miracles of science and technology to improve health care quality, reduce medical costs. We will use the vehicle driven by wind, solar, and soil, providing energy for factories. We will reform in primary and secondary schools and tertiary institutions in order to meet the demands of a new era. All this, we can do it, and we will do it. Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions - whosuggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Theirmemories are short. For they have forgotten what this country hasalready done; What free men and women can achieve when imaginationis joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage. now, some people began to question our ambition is not too big, they think too much of our institutions can't host grand plans. They are forgetful. They have forgotten what has already been made in this country; they have forgotten when creativity when combined with common objectives, as well as the necessary courage, freedom of the United States can play people of energy. What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shiftedbeneath them - that the stale political arguments that haveconsumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask todayis not whether our government is too big or too small, but whetherit works - whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where theanswer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no,programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollarswill be held to account-to spend wisely, reform bad habits and doour business in the light of day-because only then can we restorethe vital trust between a people and their Government. these skeptics wrong in that, they are not aware that political reality has changed, for a long time consumed too much effort we banal political debate is no longer applicable. 죬ǵⲻĴСܷãܷͥҵнˮʵĹǿԸҽƱϲݡ ĸܸ϶Ĵ𰸣Ǿƽĸ ĸĴǷ񶨵ģǾѡֹ ƹ˰˰ӦеΣ֧ªϰ£֮ؽҪ໥Ρ Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force forgood or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom isunmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchfuleye, the market can spin out of control - and that a nation cannotprosper long when it favours only the prosperous. The success ofour economy has always depended not just on the size of our grossdomestic product, but on the reach f; On our ability to extendopportunity to every willing heart-not out of charity, butbecause it is the surest route to our common good. isn't the market problems that we face. Ability to market to create wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without regulation, the market is likely to lose control, but also in favour of the rich national prosperity cannot be sustained. Economic success is not only depends on the size of the gross domestic product, but also on the coverage of prosperity, depends on whether we have the ability to give all the will of the people have the opportunity to prosperity. We do this is not a charity, but because it is a way to ensure the attainment of common interests. As for our common defence, we reject as false the choice betweenour safety and our ideals. Our founding fathers, faced with perilswe can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule oflaw and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood ofgenerations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will notgive them up for expedience's sake. And so to all other peoples andgovernments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals tothe small village where my father was born:know that America is afriend of each nation and every man, woman and child who seeks afuture of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead oncemore. common defense, we believe that the national security and national ideals can only choose one exclusive choice was wrong. We almost unimaginable danger, our ancestors had drafted to ensure that the rule of law and the Charter of individual rights. Blood of generations of people to strengthen this Charter. Charter's ideals still light the world, we cannot experience get rid of these ideals. So I want to watch the ceremony of the peoples and Governments of other countries said that States whether or not they are great capital were in like my father's birthplace of the little village, I would like to let them know: for each of the countries and the pursuit of peace and self-esteem individuals, United States is a friend, we are ready to lead once again set foot on the quest journey. Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communismnot just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances andenduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannotprotect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; Oursecurity emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of ourexample, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint. when back in the ancestors of the resistance to fascism, they come not only from the hands of the missiles and tanks, they also rely on strong alliances and firm faith. They know that their own power alone we are unable to protect themselves, they don't also know that we are powerful enough to make us have the right to do whatever they want. They understand that, precisely because using caution, our strength is increasing; it is for our cause is just, our world has set an example, since our humility and restraint, and our security. We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles oncemore, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort- even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. Wewill begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge ahard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes,we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll backthe specter of a warming planet. We will not apologise for our wayof life, nor will we waver in its defence, and for those who seekto advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughteringinnocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannotbe broken; You cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you. we inherited this legacy. Again, under the leadership of these principles, we are able to respond to new threats, we need to do more work, for broader cooperation between countries, as well as improve understanding among Nations. First of all, we will take a responsible attitude, Iraq return to Iraq people, at the same time consolidating Afghanistan hard won peace. For an old friend and rival, we will continue to spare no effort to reduce nuclear threat, check the spectre of global warming. We do not feel sorry for our lifestyle, we defend health will never waver in our way of life. For those who try to use terrorism or the massacre of innocent people to reach goals, we would like to say to them: our faith firmly, unshakable, you can't drag down us, we will defeat you. For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not aweakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews andHindus - and non-believers. We are shaped by every language andculture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we havetasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emergedfrom that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help butbelieve that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines oftribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, ourcommon humanity shall reveal itself; And that America must play itsrole in ushering in a new era of peace. because we know that our diverse heritage is an advantage rather than disadvantage. We in countries where Christians and Muslims, Jews have India Christians, but also a non-religious believers. The growth of our nation under the influence of many languages and cultures, we have learned anywhere on this planet the useful ingredients. Precisely because our nation has suffered a civil war and segregation of Becherovka, and after a black chapter be stronger more United, we can not help but only believe someday all hatred is a thing of the past, racial divide will soon disappear, and as the world becomes smaller and smaller, we believe that some day humanity shared by human and moral will automatically appear. Greet the arrival of the new era of peace process, the United States to play their role. To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutualinterest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe whoseek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the west -know that your people will judge you on what you can build, notwhat you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruptionand deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on thewrong side of history; But that we will extend a hand if you arewilling to unclench your fist. with regard to the Muslim world, we will be based on common interests and beliefs, in search of a better way of cooperation. Who provoked conflict in various parts of the world, or just criticize Western leader of adverse effects: your people judge you based on what you create, rather than undermined. For those who rely on corruption and deceit and suppression of dissent and the pursuit of rights: you stand in the antithesis of human history. If you can open a clenched fist, we will also lend a hand of friendship. To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you tomake your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourishstarved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations likeours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer affordindifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consumethe world's resources without regard to effect. For the world hasChanged, and we must change with it. for those poor people, we undertake to build farms and lush and you clean water, nourishes the hunger of the body and soul. For those who like us relatively wealthy countries, we cannot be indifferent to the suffering of the outside world, let alone continue massive requests for resources in the world. The world must change, we all have to change. As we consider the road that unfolds before us, we remember withhumble gratitude those brave Americans who, at this very hour, patrol far-off deserts and distant mountains. They have somethingto tell us today, just as the fallen heroes who lie in Arlingtonwhisper through the ages. We honour them not only because they areguardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit ofservice; a willingness to find meaning in something greater thanthemselves. And yet, at this moment-a moment that will define ageneration-it is precisely this spirit that must inhabit Usall. when we look at the road ahead, we will be grateful to those who cross here even though we are apart. Today, they have something to tell us, is to rest in Arlington National Cemetery of martyrs always reminds us. We respect them because they not only defended our freedom, but also because they are the incarnation of dedication, who is committed to finding a much higher than the true meaning of life itself. At this point, at this particular time, we need to let that spirit endures. For as much as government can do and must do, it is ultimately thefaith and determination of the American people upon which thisnation relies. It is the kindness to take in a stranger when thelevees break, the selflessness of workers who would rather cuttheir hours than see a friend lose their job which sees us throughour darkest hours. It is the firefighter'S courage to storm astairway filled with smoke, but also a parent's willingness tonurture a child, that finally decides our fate. Since the United States Government can do as much, how much needs to be done, United States national country will still be with determination and faith in Americans. To the victims of flood control dams burst its banks accept unknown at the time of goodwill at the time of economic downturn would reduce their working hours also refused to see friends out of selfless, they supported us through the dark times. Firefighters rushed into the staircase full of smoke the courage to save lives, parents raising children persist, which determines our fate. Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet themmay be new. But those values upon which our success depends - hardwork and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism - these things are old. These things aretrue. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout ourhistory. What is demanded then is a return to these truths. What IsRequired of us now is-a new era of responsibility-a recognition,on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly acceptbut rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there IsNothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to-a difficult task. we faces of challenge may is new of, we should challenge of measures may is new of, but those has long guide we success of values--hard, and honest, and courage, and fair competition, and inclusive and on world keep curiosity, also has on national of loyalty and patriotism--has is lasting Nathan new, these values is reliable of. They are the creation of United States history silent force. We now need to do is return the old value. We need a new era of responsibility, a time of awakening, each people should be aware that we are responsible for themselves, their country and the world, we should not be reluctant to accept these responsibilities and should be happy to take on these responsibilities. We should strengthen this understanding that there is nothing better than to put a difficult work more able to exercise our characters, more access to spiritual satisfaction. This is the price and the promise of citizenship. This is civic obligations, commitments should be made. This is the source of our confidence-the knowledge that God callson us to shape an uncertain destiny. our confidence stems from the belief in God, God calls on us to take control of their own destiny. This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed-why men andwomen and children of every race and every faith can join incelebration across this magnificent Mall, and why a man whosefather less than sixty years ago might not have been served at alocal restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacredoath. it is our belief in freedom and meaning, which is why different races, different beliefs, different sex and age, people can gather together the causes of this celebrated, is also the reason why I can stand here today a solemn declaration, and in more than 50 years ago, my father even can't become a waitress at the local restaurant. So let us mark this day with remembrance, of who we are and how farwe have traveled. In the year of America's birth, in the coldest ofmonths, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on theshores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy wasadvancing. The snow was stained with blood. At a moment when theoutcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of ournation ordered these words be read to the people: so, let us bear in mind that their identity, engraved their own footprint. In the United States was born of the era, the coldest days, a group of brave Patriots around the fire in the ice of the River to keep warm. Occupied the capital, the enemy in March, winter snow was stained by blood red. In the United States most challenged moment of revolution, and our father said: "Let it be told to the future world...that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive...that the city andthe country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet[it]." " We will make the world of tomorrow know sth In the bitter cold of winter, but there is hope and courage to make our survival sth Facing a common danger, our city and our country bravely stepped forward to face. America. In the face of our common dangers, in this winter of ourhardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope andvirtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure whatstorms may come. Let it be said by our children's children thatwhen we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we didnot turn back nor did we falter; And with eyes fixed on the horizonand God's grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift offreedom and delivered it safely to future generations. today's United States also face common challenges in the harsh winter, let us remember that Sun Yat-sen was immortal language. With hope and courage, let us brave once again to face the cold, may occur on the face of turmoil. We want our children and grandchildren remember, in facing the challenges of the time, we did not give in, we did not escape nor hesitate, we down-to-Earth, faith, receives a valuabHelp Desk Tracking Softwarele freedom and put it safely into the hands application business card creditof the next gewrongful death attorneys floridaneration.
